Your Guide to the 2021-22 Federal Budget

Released by the Treasurer in early May, the 2021-22 Federal Budget has provided an additional $15.2 billion funding for infrastructure and a ten-year investment pipeline. So, how can it affect surveyors?

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development, Michael McCormack, said the substantial new funding delivered in this Budget will provide “more jobs, more local procurement and a better future for businesses across the country”.

Western Australia has received a total of $1.26 billion of Budget funding, with a prediction of 4,000+ jobs to be created within the construction and surveying industry. For more information on each State’s funding and key projects, click here.
